Need A Cayuga Translation? We Can Help.
Cayuga is one of the languages within the Northern Iroquoian family which is spoken in the Six Nations of the Grand River First Nation. wintranslation is proud to offer Cayuga into English and English into Cayuga translation services.
The Cayuga language is one of the smallest Canadian aboriginal languages in terms of population. There were an estimated 79 fluent Cayuga speakers as of 2012, however there have been efforts to revitalize the language by the Canadian Government including immersion programs in schools.
The Cayuga language does share similarities with the other Iroquois languages – Oneida, Onondaga, Mohawk and Seneca, however there are differences which make each language distinct.
