National Indigenous History Month 2024
The month of June is National Indigenous History Month in Canada. It’s a time to celebrate and honor the stories, achievements, and resilience of Indigenous Peoples.
Indigenous History Month is an opportunity to celebrate and reflect on the enduring challenges faced by Indigenous communities. It’s a reminder for all Canadians to take action in promoting positive change and supporting the rights and well-being of Indigenous peoples.
On our #NIHM webpage, wintranslation has gathered a collection of resources from others, and a few of our own, that has helped us on our learning journey. We invite everyone to actively learn about the issues impacting First Nations, Inuit, and Métis peoples, and to join in the collective efforts to create a more inclusive and equitable future.
