wintranslation Participates in Termnet Terminology Spring School

The International Network for Terminology (Termnet) hosted an exciting train-the-trainer event in Ottawa from May 9th to May 13th, 2011. World renowned experts such as Barbara Karsch (former Terminology Leader with Microsoft) and Kara Warburton (former IBM Terminology Leader) gathered for a week of hands-on, in-depth training.

wintranslation’s Huiping Iler and Sandra Bologna were participants of the course to boost our knowledge base in translation terminology management. Clients with enterprise document translation services can often benefit from having a terminology component in addition to having experienced translators.

Huiping Zhang

Huiping Zhang is the founder and president of wintranslation. She founded the company in June 1998 as a home-based, one-woman operation and built it into a thriving, award-winning business that works with multi-national companies, governments, and not-for-profit organizations worldwide. She is a Certified Localization Professional and Terminology Manager. Huiping is a member of the Entrepreneurs’ Organization and serves as a board member for the Ottawa chapter.
